Two Great Granola Recipes

Peanut Butter Bars

1/3 cup firmly packed Nash Brother Trading Company Organic Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Nash Brother Trading Company Organic Honey
1/3 cup Nash Brother Trading Company Organic Peanut Butter
1/2 teaspoon Nash Brother Trading Company Organic Vanilla
2 1/2 cups Nash Brother Trading Company Fruit and Nut Natural Granola

In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and honey.  Heat to boiling; remove from heat.  Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.  Mix in granola just until coated.  Turn onto baking sheet or wax paper and pat to ½ inch thickness.  Cool completely; cut into bars.

Makes 12 bars

Granola Crunch Apple Crisp

5 1/2 cups sliced apples
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 cup unsifted flour
1/2 cup firmly packed  Nash Brother Trading Company Organic Brown Sugar
1/2 cup butter  (may substitute margarine)
1 teaspoon Nash Brother Trading Company Organic Cinnamon
1 cup Nash Brother Trading Company Vanilla Almond Natural Granola

In 8 or 9 inch square pan, combine apples and lemon juice.  In bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly.  Stir in cinnamon and granola.  Sprinkle over apples, spreading to cover.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
